A valuable paint mine has been discovered in Lisbon, Me. The earth is yellow, and has been pronouned by Prof. Stanley of Bates College to be a variety of sienna. It has been tested ground, raw, burnt, and with oils by the practical test of the painter with the brush, and by the investigations of experts in paint manudacture.
