Seventy pounds of zinc white, 80 pounds of air-slaked lime, 50 pounds of white lead, 10 pounds of sulphate of zinc. Mix the zinc white and lime together and grind in elastic oil, then add one gallon 35° water-glass, then the white lead and sulphate of zinc. Stir well. This will make a white paint. If a shade is required add the necessary color.
