T., of M., asks, "What Bermer blue consists of or is made of?"
It is an arsenide of copper, and made in dissolving four parts of sulphate of copper (blue vitriol) in hot water, and adding one part of arsenide of potash, and eight parts of dry, finely powdered, slakes lime. Wash with water, collect the deposit, end it in pieces, and dry them.
