Specific Character.
ERICA Ciliaris, Antheris muticis inclusis, corollis ovatis groffis, Stylo exferto, foliis ternis, racemosis secundis.

About the year 1773 this curious Specie of Heath was brought into this country. It is a native of Spain and Portugal, rarely if ever known to produce Seeds in this climate, but fo hardy that during winter it requires only a greenhouse shelter.

Is propagated, like most foreigners of the same Genus, by cuttings, and is in flower from July to September.
